Description
Crispy Italian cookies with a hint of anise, made easily in your air fryer.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp anise extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Add softened butter, eggs, and anise extract. Mix until dough forms.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls and flatten slightly.
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Place cookies in air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Dough can be refrigerated for 30 minutes if too sticky.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
