Description
Crispy and sweet banana fritters made in an air fryer for a healthier twist on the classic dessert.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add milk and vanilla extract, stir until smooth.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Drop spoonfuls of batter into the basket, leaving space between them.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use very ripe bananas for natural sweetness.
- Adjust sugar to taste if bananas are extra sweet.
- For extra crispiness, lightly spray fritters with oil before air frying.
