Delicious and healthy black bean burgers made in your air fryer. Packed with protein and flavor, these burgers are perfect for a quick meal.
Ingredients
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Mash the black beans in a bowl.
- Add breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into 4 patties.
- Brush the patties with olive oil.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the patties in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Serve on buns with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- For a crispier texture, cook for an extra 2-3 minutes.
- If the mixture is too wet, add more breadcrumbs.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
