Description
A quick and delicious breakfast sandwich combining pizza and grilled cheese flavors, made in your air fryer in just 10 minutes.
Ingredients
- 2 slices bread
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tbsp pizza sauce
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp butter
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 370°F (188°C) for 3 minutes
- Spread pizza sauce on one slice of bread
- Sprinkle half the cheese on top of sauce
- Cook egg in a pan until whites are set but yolk is still runny
- Place cooked egg on top of cheese
- Add remaining cheese and top with second bread slice
- Butter the outside of both bread slices
- Place sandwich in air fryer basket
- Cook for 5 minutes, flip halfway
- Remove when golden brown and cheese is melted
Notes
- Use any bread you prefer
- Add cooked bacon or sausage for extra protein
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model
