Description

A quick and delicious breakfast sandwich combining pizza and grilled cheese flavors, made in your air fryer in just 10 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices bread
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp pizza sauce
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 370°F (188°C) for 3 minutes
  2. Spread pizza sauce on one slice of bread
  3. Sprinkle half the cheese on top of sauce
  4. Cook egg in a pan until whites are set but yolk is still runny
  5. Place cooked egg on top of cheese
  6. Add remaining cheese and top with second bread slice
  7. Butter the outside of both bread slices
  8. Place sandwich in air fryer basket
  9. Cook for 5 minutes, flip halfway
  10. Remove when golden brown and cheese is melted

Notes

  • Use any bread you prefer
  • Add cooked bacon or sausage for extra protein
