Crispy and flavorful air fryer wings with a rich brown butter and sage glaze.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs chicken wings
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 8 fresh sage leaves
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
Instructions
- Pat dry the chicken wings with paper towels.
- Season wings with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Preheat air fryer to 380°F for 5 minutes.
- Arrange wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 12 minutes, flip, then cook another 12 minutes.
- While wings cook, melt butter in a small pan over medium heat.
- Add sage leaves and cook until butter turns golden brown.
- Toss cooked wings in the brown butter sage sauce.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, let wings air-dry in the fridge for 1 hour before cooking.
- Double the sauce if you prefer more coating.
