Description
A quick and easy low-carb chicken shawarma bowl made in the air fryer. Perfect for a healthy and flavorful meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup chopped lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced cucumber
- 1/4 cup sliced red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tahini sauce
Instructions
- Cut chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, cumin, turmeric, cinnamon, salt, and pepper.
- Toss chicken in the marinade and let sit for 15 minutes.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place chicken in the air fryer basket and cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking halfway.
- While chicken cooks, prepare the bowl with lettuce, cucumber, red onion, and tomatoes.
- Top the bowl with cooked chicken and drizzle with tahini sauce.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Marinate chicken longer for deeper flavor.
- Adjust spices to your preference.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
