Description
Crispy air fryer corn dogs with a golden-brown coating and juicy hot dog center. Quick and easy to make with minimal oil.
Ingredients
- 6 corn dog sticks
- 6 hot dogs
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 390°F for 5 minutes.
- Insert sticks into hot dogs, leaving 2 inches for holding.
- Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Whisk egg, milk, and butter in another bowl.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients to form batter.
- Dip each hot dog into batter, coating evenly.
- Place in air fryer basket without overlapping.
- Cook for 8 minutes, flip halfway through.
- Check for golden color and crisp texture before serving.
