Ingredients
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- 12 mini hot dogs
- 12 wooden skewers
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Whisk egg, milk, and melted butter in another bowl.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients to form a thick batter.
- Insert skewers into mini hot dogs.
- Dip each hot dog into the batter, coating evenly.
- Place coated corn dogs in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown.
- Serve warm with ketchup or mustard.
