Description

A flavorful and easy-to-make sandwich featuring jerk-seasoned chicken and Cotija cheese, cooked in an air fryer for a crispy finish.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup Cotija cheese, crumbled
  • 1 tbsp jerk seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 brioche buns
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/4 cup sliced red onion


Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Coat the chicken breasts with olive oil and jerk seasoning.
  3. Place the chicken in the air fryer basket and cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway.
  4. Remove the chicken and let it rest for 2 minutes, then slice.
  5. Toast the brioche buns in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Spread mayonnaise on the buns, then layer with lettuce, sliced chicken, Cotija cheese, and red onion.
  7. Serve immediately.
