Description
Crispy and creamy Air Fryer Crab Rangoon, also known as Cream Cheese Wontons, are a delicious appetizer or snack. These golden pockets are filled with a savory mixture of cream cheese, crab meat, and seasonings, then air-fried to perfection.
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup imitation crab meat, finely chopped
- 1 green onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp soy sauce
- 24 wonton wrappers
- Water (for sealing wontons)
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, crab meat, green onion, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce until well combined.
- Place 1 tsp of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.
- Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, then fold into a triangle and press to seal.
- Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (187°C).
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Arrange the wontons in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each.
- Lightly spray the wontons with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve immediately with sweet and sour sauce or soy sauce.
Notes
- Use real crab meat for a richer flavor if preferred.
- Do not overfill the wontons to prevent bursting.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
- Reheat in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes to restore crispiness.
