Description
Make crispy waffle fries in your air fryer with minimal oil.
Ingredients
- 2 large russet potatoes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp paprika
Instructions
- Cut potatoes into waffle fry shape using a crinkle cutter or knife
- Soak cut potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes
- Drain and pat potatoes completely dry
- Toss potatoes with oil and seasonings
- Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C)
- Cook fries in single layer for 15-18 minutes, shaking basket every 5 minutes
- Serve immediately
Notes
- Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket
- Adjust cooking time based on fry thickness
- For extra crispiness, cook at 400°F for last 2 minutes
