Description
Crispy dill pickle fries made in the air fryer for a quick and tasty snack.
Ingredients
- 1 jar (16 oz) dill pickle spears
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Drain pickles and pat them dry with paper towels.
- Cut each pickle spear into thin fry-sized strips.
- Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko mixed with garlic powder and paprika.
- Coat each pickle strip in flour, dip in egg, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Place coated pickles in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Lightly spray with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, double-coat the pickles in the breading.
- Use a cooling rack to keep fries crispy after cooking.
