Description
Crispy and delicious bites made in an air fryer with a double-frying technique for extra crunch.
Ingredients
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 lb chicken or tofu (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 2 tbsp oil (for spraying)
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix breadcrumbs, flour, salt, pepper, and paprika in a bowl.
- Dip chicken or tofu pieces in beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
- Place coated pieces in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Spray lightly with oil.
- Air fry for 10 minutes, flip, and spray again.
- Air fry for another 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Let rest for 2 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, refrigerate coated bites for 15 minutes before frying.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
- Serve with dipping sauce of your choice.
