Description
Crispy and flavorful empanada bites made in the air fryer for a quick and easy snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
- 1 package (10-count) empanada discs
- 1 cup cooked ground beef
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 1/4 cup diced bell peppers
- 1 tsp taco seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, cheese, onions, bell peppers, and taco seasoning.
- Place a spoonful of filling onto each empanada disc and fold into half-moons. Seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush each empanada with egg wash and lightly coat with olive oil.
- Place empanadas in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
