Description

A quick and easy version of the classic fish and chips, made healthier by using an air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 2 white fish fillets (like cod or haddock)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 large potatoes, cut into fries
  • 1 tbsp olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Coat the fish fillets in flour, then dip in beaten egg, and finally roll in breadcrumbs mixed with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the coated fish fillets in the air fryer basket.
  4. Toss the potato fries with olive oil and place them in the air fryer alongside the fish.
  5. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fish is golden and the fries are crispy.
  6. Serve hot with tartar sauce or ketchup.
