Description
Easy and delicious air fryer ham and cheese puff pastry pinwheels. Perfect for snacks or appetizers.
Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1/2 cup cooked ham, diced
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional)
Instructions
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
- Spread Dijon mustard evenly over the pastry (if using).
- Sprinkle ham and cheese evenly over the pastry.
- Roll the pastry tightly into a log.
- Slice the log into 1-inch thick pinwheels.
- Brush each pinwheel with beaten egg.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place pinwheels in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes until golden and flaky.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Use pre-cooked ham for best results.
- Let the puff pastry thaw slightly before rolling.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
