Description
A quick and healthy salmon dish with Cajun spices, cooked in an air fryer for a crispy exterior and tender interior.
Ingredients
- 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 lemon, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
- Rub olive oil evenly over the salmon.
- Mix Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
- Coat the salmon fillets with the spice mixture.
- Place the salmon in the air fryer basket, skin-side down.
- Cook for 8–10 minutes, until the salmon is flaky and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Garnish with lemon slices before serving.
Notes
- Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of the salmon.
- For extra crispiness, lightly spray the salmon with oil before cooking.
- Serve with steamed vegetables or quinoa for a balanced meal.
