Description
Crispy homemade churro nuggets made easily in your air fryer.
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup sugar (for coating)
- 1 tsp cinnamon (for coating)
Instructions
- Boil water, sugar, salt, and oil in a saucepan.
- Remove from heat and stir in flour until smooth.
- Beat in the egg until fully combined.
- Transfer dough to a piping bag with a star tip.
- Pipe 2-inch nuggets onto parchment paper.
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Air fry nuggets for 8-10 minutes until golden.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Toss warm nuggets in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Notes
- Use a star piping tip for classic churro ridges.
- Serve warm for best texture.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
