Description
Crispy homemade fish sticks made with cod in an air fryer for a healthier alternative to fried fish sticks.
Ingredients
- 1 lb cod fillets, cut into strips
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
- Mix breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Coat fish strips in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then press into breadcrumb mixture.
- Place fish sticks in air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Lightly spray with olive oil.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use fresh or thawed frozen cod.
- Adjust cooking time based on thickness of fish strips.
- For extra crispiness, spray lightly with oil before cooking.
