Description
A fresh and crunchy Italian chopped salad made quickly in the air fryer. Perfect for a light meal or side dish.
Ingredients
- 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cucumber, diced
- 1/2 cup black olives, sliced
- 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, cubed
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup Italian dressing
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, cucumber, olives, pepperoni, and mozzarella.
- Toss with Italian dressing, oregano, and garlic powder.
- Transfer mixture to air fryer basket. Cook for 5 minutes, shaking halfway.
- Remove from air fryer, top with Parmesan cheese, and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crunch, add croutons after cooking.
- Substitute salami for pepperoni if preferred.
- Add chickpeas for extra protein.
