Description
Crispy, spicy, and creamy air fryer jalapeño cream cheese sticks. Perfect for a quick snack or party appetizer.
Ingredients
- 8 jalapeño peppers
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tbsp water
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Cut jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds.
- Mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl.
- Fill each jalapeño half with the cream cheese mixture.
- Freeze stuffed jalapeños for 15 minutes.
- Set up a breading station: flour in one bowl, beaten eggs with water in another, and breadcrumbs in a third.
- Coat each jalapeño in flour, dip in egg mixture, then roll in breadcrumbs.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Spray air fryer basket with cooking spray and place jalapeños inside.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Serve warm.

- Wear gloves when handling jalapeños to avoid skin irritation.
- For extra crispiness, spray breaded jalapeños lightly with oil before air frying.
