Description
A quick and healthy air fryer sandwich packed with lean beef protein.
Ingredients
- 2 slices whole wheat bread
- 4 oz lean ground beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1 slice low-fat cheese
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1/4 cup shredded lettuce
- 2 slices tomato
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
- Mix ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Shape into a patty and brush with olive oil.
- Air fry for 8 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Add cheese slice and air fry for 1 more minute.
- Toast bread in the air fryer for 2 minutes.
- Spread mustard on bread, then layer with lettuce, tomato, and beef patty.
- Close sandwich, cut in half, and serve.
Notes
- Use 93% lean beef for best results.
- Adjust cook time for thicker patties.
- Replace cheese with avocado for dairy-free option.
