Description
Crispy and creamy mac and cheese bites made easily in your air fryer.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked macaroni
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Mix macaroni, cheddar cheese, milk, butter, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Form the mixture into small bite-sized balls.
- Dip each ball into beaten egg, then roll in breadcrumbs.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly coat the air fryer basket with olive oil.
- Place the bites in the air fryer, leaving space between them.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use leftover mac and cheese for easier preparation.
- For extra crispiness, spray the bites with cooking oil before air frying.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
