Description

A lighter version of grilled cheese made in an air fryer, perfect for a New Year detox. This recipe is quick, easy, and healthier than traditional grilled cheese.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices whole grain bread
  • 1/4 cup shredded low-fat mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded low-fat cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano


Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
  2. Brush one side of each bread slice lightly with olive oil.
  3. Sprinkle garlic powder and oregano on the oiled sides.
  4. Place the cheese between the bread slices, with the oiled sides facing outward.
  5. Place the sandwich in the air fryer basket.
  6. Cook for 5 minutes, flip, and cook for another 3 minutes until golden and crispy.
  7. Let it cool for a minute before slicing and serving.
