Description

Crispy vegetarian nuggets made with chickpeas and cooked in an air fryer for a healthy snack or meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil


Instructions

  1. Mash chickpeas in a bowl.
  2. Add breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Shape mixture into small nuggets.
  4. Brush nuggets with olive oil.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Place nuggets in air fryer basket in a single layer.
  7. Cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway.
  8. Serve hot.
