Description

Crispy air-fried nuggets coated in a sweet and savory Vietnamese caramel glaze. A quick and flavorful dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1/4 cup fish sauce
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Toss chicken pieces with cornstarch, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Lightly coat chicken with oil and air fry for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway.
  4. In a saucepan, melt sugar over medium heat until caramelized.
  5. Add fish sauce, garlic, lime juice, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  6. Toss cooked nuggets in the caramel glaze and serve.

  • For extra crispiness, spray nuggets with oil before air frying.
