Description
Crispy air fryer nuggets coated with a tangy sumac lemon dust. Quick, easy, and packed with flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp sumac
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Dip chicken pieces in beaten egg, then coat with flour mixture.
- Place nuggets in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10 minutes, flip, and cook for another 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix sumac and lemon zest, sprinkle over cooked nuggets before serving.
Notes
- Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
- Adjust spices to taste.
- Serve with yogurt or dipping sauce.
