A fun twist on classic pigs in a blanket, combining pizza flavors and wrapped in dough, cooked in an air fryer for a crispy finish.
Ingredients
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 8 mini hot dogs or cocktail sausages
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.
- Spread a small amount of pizza sauce on each dough triangle.
- Sprinkle cheese over the sauce, then place a mini hot dog on the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll the dough around the hot dogs, starting from the wide end.
- Place the wrapped pigs in a blanket in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Cook for 6-8 minutes or until golden brown and crisp.
- Remove from the air fryer, let cool slightly, and serve.
Notes
- You can use puff pastry instead of crescent dough.
- Add pepperoni slices for extra pizza flavor.
- Serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
