Description

Crispy and flavorful air fryer piri piri wings with a spicy kick.


Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp piri piri sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper


Instructions

  1. Pat dry the chicken wings with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, piri piri sauce, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Coat the wings evenly with the marinade.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for 3 minutes.
  5. Arrange wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  6. Cook for 12 minutes, flip, then cook another 10 minutes until crispy.
  7. Serve hot with extra piri piri sauce if desired.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, leave wings uncovered in the fridge for 1 hour before cooking.
  • Adjust piri piri sauce quantity based on your preferred spice level.
