Description
Crispy cheese sticks coated with pork rinds and cooked in an air fryer for a crunchy, cheesy snack.
Ingredients
- 8 mozzarella cheese sticks
- 1 cup crushed pork rinds
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup almond flour
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix crushed pork rinds, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and paprika in a bowl.
- Roll each cheese stick in almond flour, then dip in beaten eggs.
- Coat the cheese sticks evenly with the pork rind mixture.
- Place cheese sticks in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Air fry for 5-6 minutes or until golden and crispy.
- Let cool for 1-2 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Freeze cheese sticks for 15 minutes before coating for easier handling.
- Serve with marinara sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.
- For extra crispiness, spray lightly with oil before air frying.
