Description
Crispy and quick hash brown breakfast patties made in an air fryer for a delicious morning meal.
Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded potatoes
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup grated onion
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix shredded potatoes, egg, grated onion, cheese, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into small patties.
- Brush both sides of each patty with olive oil.
- Place patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Use a clean towel to squeeze excess moisture from shredded potatoes.
- For extra crispiness, spray patties lightly with oil before air frying.
- You can add diced bell peppers or herbs for variation.
