Description

Crispy air-fried samosas filled with spinach and potato.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 cups boiled potatoes, mashed
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp green chili paste
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp oil for filling
  • Oil spray for air frying


Instructions

  1. Mix flour, 1/4 cup oil, and salt. Add water to make dough. Rest for 20 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, ginger paste, and green chili paste.
  3. Add spinach and cook until wilted.
  4. Add mashed potatoes and spices. Mix well. Cool the filling.
  5. Divide dough into small balls. Roll each into a circle.
  6. Cut each circle in half. Fold into a cone shape.
  7. Fill with spinach-potato mixture. Seal edges.
  8. Preheat air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
  9. Spray samosas with oil. Air fry for 12-15 minutes until golden.
  10. Serve hot with chutney.

Notes

  • Keep dough covered to prevent drying.
  • Adjust spice levels to taste.
  • Seal edges properly to avoid leaks.
  • Flip samosas halfway for even cooking.
