Description

Crisp and flavorful plantain chips made in an air fryer with simple seasonings.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe plantains
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder


Instructions

  1. Peel and thinly slice the plantains.
  2. Toss slices with olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 360°F (180°C).
  4. Arrange slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  5. Cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Check for crispness and cook 2–3 more minutes if needed.
  7. Let cool before serving.

Notes

  • Use ripe (yellow with black spots) plantains for best flavor.
  • Thinner slices result in crispier chips.
