Description
Crisp and flavorful plantain chips made in an air fryer with simple seasonings.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe plantains
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Peel and thinly slice the plantains.
- Toss slices with olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
- Preheat air fryer to 360°F (180°C).
- Arrange slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Check for crispness and cook 2–3 more minutes if needed.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Use ripe (yellow with black spots) plantains for best flavor.
- Thinner slices result in crispier chips.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
