Description

Crispy and delicious shoestring fries made in an air fryer for a healthier alternative to deep-fried fries.


Ingredients

  • 2 large russet potatoes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp paprika


Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the potatoes, then cut them into thin shoestring strips.
  2. Soak the potato strips in cold water for 20 minutes to remove excess starch.
  3. Drain and pat the potatoes dry with a paper towel.
  4. Toss the potatoes with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  7. Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  8. Remove and serve immediately.

  • For extra crispiness, spray the fries lightly with cooking oil before air frying.
