Description
Crispy, spicy shrimp cooked in an air fryer with a creamy bang bang sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 1 tsp sriracha
- 1 tsp lime juice
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Soak shrimp in buttermilk for 10 minutes.
- Mix breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne, and salt in a bowl.
- Coat shrimp in breadcrumb mixture.
- Place shrimp in air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice for the bang bang sauce.
- Toss cooked shrimp in sauce or serve on the side.
Notes
- Adjust sriracha for desired spice level.
- Serve with rice or as an appetizer.
