Description
Crispy and spicy chicken nuggets coated in sriracha-infused panko breadcrumbs, cooked in an air fryer for extra crunch.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp sriracha sauce
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dip chicken pieces in the flour mixture, then egg, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs mixed with sriracha.
- Place nuggets in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Lightly spray with olive oil.
- Cook for 10 minutes, flip, then cook for another 5 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, spray lightly with oil before cooking.
- Adjust sriracha amount for preferred spice level.
- Serve with dipping sauce of your choice.
