Description
A quick and easy steak quesadilla made in the air fryer, perfect for a tasty meal.
Ingredients
- 8 oz flank steak, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 medium flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix steak with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place steak in the air fryer basket. Cook for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Remove steak and let rest for 2 minutes. Slice into thin strips.
- Lay out tortillas. On half of each tortilla, layer cheese, steak, bell peppers, cilantro, and red onion.
- Fold tortillas over the filling.
- Place quesadillas in the air fryer. Cook for 3-4 minutes, flipping once, until golden and crispy.
- Cut into wedges and serve hot.
Notes
- Use pre-cooked steak for a faster option.
- Swap Monterey Jack with cheddar or pepper jack.
- Add a side of salsa or sour cream for dipping.
