Description
A quick and easy air fryer tuna salad cheddar sandwich with crispy bread and melted cheese.
Ingredients
- 1 can tuna, drained
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1/4 cup diced celery
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 4 slices bread
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp butter, softened
Instructions
- Mix tuna, mayonnaise, mustard, celery, and onion in a bowl.
- Spread tuna salad on two slices of bread.
- Top each with a slice of cheddar cheese.
- Cover with remaining bread slices.
- Butter the outside of each sandwich.
- Place sandwiches in the air fryer basket.
- Cook at 375°F for 5 minutes, flip, and cook another 3 minutes.
Notes
- Use whole wheat bread for extra fiber.
- Add pickles or jalapeños for extra flavor.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
