Description

A quick and easy air fryer tuna salad cheddar sandwich with crispy bread and melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 can tuna, drained
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1/4 cup diced celery
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 4 slices bread
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter, softened


Instructions

  1. Mix tuna, mayonnaise, mustard, celery, and onion in a bowl.
  2. Spread tuna salad on two slices of bread.
  3. Top each with a slice of cheddar cheese.
  4. Cover with remaining bread slices.
  5. Butter the outside of each sandwich.
  6. Place sandwiches in the air fryer basket.
  7. Cook at 375°F for 5 minutes, flip, and cook another 3 minutes.

Notes

  • Use whole wheat bread for extra fiber.
  • Add pickles or jalapeños for extra flavor.
