Description
Crispy air fryer wings coated in a sweet and savory Asian BBQ glaze.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ginger powder
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp water
Instructions
- Pat dry the chicken wings with paper towels.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes.
- Place wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 12 minutes, flip, then cook for another 12 minutes.
- While wings cook, mix soy sauce, honey, vinegar, sesame oil, garlic powder, ginger powder, and red pepper flakes in a saucepan.
- Bring the sauce to a simmer over medium heat.
- Mix cornstarch and water, then stir into the sauce to thicken.
- Toss cooked wings in the glaze until fully coated.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, pat wings dry thoroughly before cooking.
- Adjust red pepper flakes to control spiciness.
- Serve immediately for best texture.
