Description
Crispy avocado toast bites made in the air fryer for a quick and healthy snack.
Ingredients
- 1 ripe avocado
- 2 slices of whole grain bread
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the bread into small bite-sized squares.
- Lightly brush both sides of the bread with olive oil.
- Air fry the bread for 3-4 minutes until crispy and golden.
- Mash the avocado in a bowl and mix in salt, pepper, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, and lemon juice.
- Spread the mashed avocado on the toasted bread bites.
- Sprinkle with fresh cilantro if desired.
- Serve immediately.
