Description
A quick and flavorful Greek-inspired grilled cheese sandwich made in an air fryer for a crispy, melty result.
Ingredients
- 2 slices sourdough bread
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped kalamata olives
- 1 tbsp sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp butter, softened
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 370°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
- Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
- On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer feta, mozzarella, olives, sun-dried tomatoes, and oregano.
- Top with the second bread slice, buttered side facing out.
- Place sandwich in air fryer basket and cook for 4 minutes.
- Flip carefully and cook for 3 more minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool for 1 minute before slicing.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, spray the bread lightly with olive oil.
- Substitute spinach for olives if preferred.
- Use pita bread for a thinner alternative.
