Description
Crispy and spicy Buffalo shrimp made in an air fryer, perfect for a festive Christmas appetizer.
Ingredients
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup hot sauce
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix hot sauce, melted butter, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Toss shrimp in the sauce mixture and let marinate for 10 minutes.
- Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs.
- Coat each shrimp in flour, dip in egg, then roll in breadcrumbs.
- Place shrimp in the air fryer basket in a single layer, lightly spray with cooking spray.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Serve immediately with extra hot sauce or ranch dressing.
