A quick and easy cheesy ground beef and rice casserole made in the air fryer, perfect for a festive Christmas meal.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a pan, heat olive oil and cook ground beef until browned.
- Add onions, bell peppers, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Cook for 3 minutes.
- Stir in cooked rice and beef broth. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to an air fryer-safe dish.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Air fry for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Use lean ground beef for a healthier option.
- Substitute brown rice for white rice if preferred.
- Add more cheese if you like it extra cheesy.
