A hearty and cheesy potato dish perfect for Christmas gatherings, made easily in your air fryer or crockpot.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, then drain excess fat.
- Toss the diced potatoes with melted butter, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket and cook for 15 minutes, shaking halfway.
- Mix the cooked beef with the potatoes, then top with shredded cheese.
- Cook for another 5 minutes until the cheese melts.
- Serve hot with a dollop of sour cream.
Notes
- For a crockpot version, cook on low for 4-5 hours.
- Add diced onions or bell peppers for extra flavor.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
