Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 1 tbsp milk (for glaze)
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon (optional)
- Sprinkles or crushed candy canes (for decoration)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased donut mold or shape into rings on parchment paper.
- Place in the air fryer basket and cook for 6-8 minutes until golden.
- Let the donuts cool slightly.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk to make the glaze.
- Dip each donut in the glaze and add sprinkles or crushed candy canes.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use a piping bag for easier shaping if you don’t have a donut mold.
- Check doneness with a toothpick—it should come out clean.
