Description
A festive and healthy fish bowl with orange and ginger flavors, perfect for a Christmas meal.
Ingredients
- 2 fillets of white fish (such as cod or tilapia)
- 1 orange, juiced and zested
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup cooked quinoa
- 1 cup baby spinach
- 1/2 avocado, sliced
- 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp honey
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the orange juice, orange zest, grated ginger, olive oil, soy sauce, honey, salt, and pepper.
- Place the fish fillets in the marinade and let them sit for 10 minutes.
- Transfer the fish to the air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until fully cooked.
- Assemble the bowl with cooked quinoa, baby spinach, avocado slices, and red onion.
- Place the cooked fish on top and drizzle with remaining marinade if desired.
Notes
- Use fresh ginger for the best flavor.
- Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of the fish fillets.
- You can substitute quinoa with rice or another grain of your choice.
