A festive and flavorful chicken dish inspired by Texas Roadhouse, made easy in the air fryer. Perfect for a Christmas dinner with tender chicken, rich gravy, and melted cheese.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 cup prepared gravy
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Brush the chicken with olive oil and place in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Top each chicken breast with shredded cheese and crumbled bacon.
- Return to the air fryer for 2-3 minutes, until the cheese melts.
- Drizzle with warm gravy and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
