Description
Crispy and golden shoestring fries made easily in your air fryer. A healthier alternative to deep-fried fries.
Ingredients
- 2 large russet potatoes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
Instructions
- Wash and peel the potatoes.
- Cut them into thin shoestring strips.
- Soak the strips in cold water for 10 minutes to remove excess starch.
- Drain and pat dry with a clean towel.
- Toss the fries with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer to ensure crispiness.
- Adjust seasoning to your taste.
- For extra crispiness, spray lightly with cooking oil before air frying.
