Description

Crispy and golden shoestring fries made easily in your air fryer. A healthier alternative to deep-fried fries.


Ingredients

  • 2 large russet potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)


Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the potatoes.
  2. Cut them into thin shoestring strips.
  3. Soak the strips in cold water for 10 minutes to remove excess starch.
  4. Drain and pat dry with a clean towel.
  5. Toss the fries with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  6. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Place the fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  8. Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway.
  9. Serve hot.
