Description
Crispy and juicy chicken tenders made in an air fryer with minimal oil.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Beat the egg in another bowl.
- Coat each chicken tender in egg, then in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Lightly spray or brush tenders with olive oil.
- Place in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, spray tenders lightly with oil before cooking.
- Serve with dipping sauces like honey mustard or ranch.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
