Description
Quick and crispy chicken parmesan bites made in the air fryer. Perfect for a snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- Dip chicken pieces into beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Lightly spray with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Top each chicken bite with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
- Air fry for 2-3 more minutes until cheese melts.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crispiness.
- For spicier bites, add red pepper flakes to the breadcrumb mix.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
